SSI-Mafuri JV - Khutsong Primary School

Congratulations to Phela Construction Services....Stewart Scott International (SSI) - Mafuri Joint Venture has contracted Phela to do all the remedial work at the newly built Khutsong Primary School in Carletonville.
This R64 Million rand Khutsong Primary School which is located in Khutsong South, in Carletonville, will have 23 classrooms accommodating about 920 students on a 4000 m2 stretch of land.
This project is part of a R 500 Million Rand project by SSI-Mafuri JV to built 16 new schools in townships throughout South Africa. We are both humbled and honoured to become part of this huge development project. Our work is due to start on Monday, 03 Oct 2011 and I will post pictures of the school in next week...

Phela has started on work at the Khutsong Primary School in Carletonville...Our scope of work will be all the remedial works and finishing works. We have started with the lifting of the uneven floor screeding, repairs and installation of ceilings, painting of the window and door frames, carpentry works. Here are some pictures taken this morning.

Heymath - Tenant Installation

International company Heymath has finally settled in Johannesburg and opened their offices in Bedfordview. They contacted Phela Construction to help them with the design, space planning and tenant installation for their new offces. We project entails drywalling, ceilings, painting, carpentry and new carpets. The project started on Friday, 23 Nov 2011 and is due for completion on Monday 03 Oct 2011 when the new furniture arrives. The walls will be painted with their corporate colours.
